About the assignment

As an operational buyer, you will be an important part of the purchasing organization and work closely with production, planning, logistics, and technology. You will be responsible for ensuring the right materials, at the right time and at the right cost - while managing supplier contacts, order placement, and deviations. The role suits you who thrive in an environment where collaboration, accuracy, communication, and problem-solving are central.

Examples of tasks:

• Placing purchase orders and ensuring deliveries as needed
• Monitoring supplier performance and managing deviations
• Working with material planning and coordinating with internal functions
• Participating in improvement work related to purchasing processes and flows
• Supporting strategic buyers with data and analysis as needed

Who we are looking for

We are looking for someone with experience in operational purchasing who enjoys a role that combines administration, communication, and problem-solving. You are proactive, structured, service-oriented, and used to working closely with both internal and external parties.

To qualify for the assignment, you need:

• Experience in operational purchasing, material planning, or a similar role
• Good understanding of industrial flows and supplier processes
• Experience working in business systems, preferably SAP
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English
• Ability to work structured, independently, and solution-oriented
• Ability to undergo a security clearance

It is advantageous if you:

• Have experience from high-tech, defense-related, or classified industries
• Have worked with technical products or complex purchasing flows
• Have good system skills and an interest in data and process improvements
• Have experience working in larger organizations with established purchasing processes
